Poslanici Skupštine Republike Kosova u poseti Akademiji

Vushtrri, 30 june 2015 – Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), Ismail Smakiqi, met today with members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, Nuredin Ibishi and Rexhep Selimi; members of the Committee on Internal Affairs, Security and Supervision of the Kosovo Security Force.


The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted more closely with the work and activities of in the Academy.

Director Smakiqi told MPs for all activities, achievements and challenges in KAPS.

Smakiqi also told the legislators about the twinning project, where as a result of two years of genuine work, now is open the Faculty of Public Safety. 

 

Director Smakiqi during the meeting with MPs spoke about the latest processes, the progress achieved in the Academy, the development of training from safety agencies, the functioning of the Faculty of Safety and international cooperation.

 

Talking about the trainings, director Smakiqi informed MPs that in the Academy are trained members of public safety not only from the Republic Kosovo, but also from the region.

 

While MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo during the meeting praised that the Academy for Public Safety is an adequate place to provide training and scientific preparations for members of public safety in the country. 

 

Members of the Assembly on this occasion promised to give support to the Academy in every aspect.

 

They assessed that the Academy has foundation and the capacity to be an important center for trainings of members of public safety, not only for the safety agencies in the country but also beyond.
