Cena has been declared European champion in the competition "European Championship for Veteran Masters”

14.11.2011Vushtrri, November 14, 2011 - Anton Cena, instructor at the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED), who represents Albania in international competitions, has been declared European Champion in the Judo sport. Cena took the first place in European Championship competitions for veteran masters which were held from 10 to 13 November in Austria where 47 European countries took part.

Cena said the first match in this competition was free, whereas in the second competition Cena had a duel with Frenchman Jeandenand Christoph who beat him with IPPON, 10 to zero.

In the third fight Cena met with the group winner, Austrian Hermann Schmoelzer, which also beat with IPPON 10 to zero. In the next fight Cena met with semi finalist Frenchman Garcia Jean-Luc, who is the winner of world championship medal in 2011, who also beat him with IPPON 10 to zero to reach to the European Championship final.
 
Kosovo Police Sergeant, Anton Cena in this competition managed to beat Judo European and world champion for veterans the Russian Sikoev Yuri, and so he has been declared Judo European champion

"In this race I managed to beat in the final the Judo European and world champion for veterans the Russian Sikoev Yuri. For me this victory was a more exciting feeling because to hear the anthem at the heart of Europe and see all standing up to honour our national flag can not be described in words, "said Cena considering the participation in this sporting event as one of the highest moments of his career. On this occasion he thanked the Kosovo Police that enabled participation in this magnificent completion.
