Firearms Department delivers these courses:
- Basic handgun course;
- AK-47 rifle course;
- MP-5 long barrel rifle course;
- FATS training;
- Advanced MP-5 course with electronic equipment laser Cat;
- Firearms instructors course;
- Additional training (recertification for all courses);
- Use of lethal force training.
Candidates attending firearms courses are continuously are evaluating by firearms instructors;
According to the evaluation of the respective instructor, cadets may have additional trainings;
If the participants in the training fail in final remedial shooting, they will have additional training in FATS for three days.
These rules are to be applied in all firearms courses:
- Attendance 90% ;
- Written test 70% ;
- Qualification 80% (final shooting with 60 rounds).
- Evaluation on FATS (shooting decision on three scenarios);
- Non verbal commands (reaction on risk, shooting/not shooting, precision and justification);
- Passing/failing on manipulation and safety evaluation (assembling and disassembling, loading/clearing of the weapon, emergency and tactical reloading, manipulation with the firearms in safe manner).
