KAPS General Director, Ismail Smakiqi has travelled on an official visit to Turkey

Vushtrri, April 23, 2012 - General Director of Kosovo Academy of Public Safety, Mr.Ismail Smakiqi accompanied by Mr. Dukagjin Dinaj, Director of Training and Program Support Department, travelled on an official visit to Turkey. During this visit the Director Smakiqi will attend the meeting of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA).

Smakiqi will have meetings with representatives of public safety of the various states that are INTERPA members. In this meeting it is expected to discuss various topics dealing with the issue of security and cooperation and exchange of experiences

International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) was signed in Istanbul on 2 July last year where the Academy is a member of this association as well. International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) aims to establish a platform of communication, cooperation, coordination and exchange of experiences between Member States with the purpose of fighting terrorism, smuggling, trafficking in human beings and all other negative occurrence.
