Director Jashari met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria Ivelina Dundakova

Vushtrri, February 20, 2024 – The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Bulgaria, Ivelina Dundakova, today visited the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), where she met with the acting Director General of the Academy, Kastriot Jashari.

The delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria during the visit to the Academy was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo Bardhyl Dobra.
The acting Director General of the Academy Kastriot Jashari, thanking the mentioned delegation for the visit, informed them about the general developments of KAPS.


 Jashari, among other things, during this meeting spoke about the international cooperation that the Academy has. Director Jashari expressed the need for deepening cooperation in order to raise and advance training in the field of public safety for law enforcement officers.


Jashari said that the Academy enjoys great support from international organizations belonging to the field of public safety. Jashari said that the cooperation and exchange of experiences with public safety institutions from Bulgaria is welcome.


The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs in Kosovo, Bardhyl Dobra, thanking Deputy Minister Dundakova for the visit, expressed his readiness for cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Academy of Public Safety in terms of training in the field of public safety.


The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Bulgaria, Ivelina Dundakova, highly appreciated the achievements of the Academy.

On this occasion, Dundakova assessed that the signing of the cooperation agreement with the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety in the field of training for public safety and the exchange of experiences between institutions is very important.
