Thirteen police officers completed training for the Close Protection Unit

Vushtrri, Dec.08.2023 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today thirteen police officers completed the training for operators of the Close Protection Unit.

The deputy of the General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, the instructors of this training and other officials of the public safety institutions took part in the certification ceremony.

The deputy of the General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari thanked the instructors for the contribution given in transferring the experiences to the police officers.

Jashari said that this is a very important training for the Kosovo Police, this training will contribute to their work and responsibilities. Jashari said that the Academy has given and will continue to give support to every public safety official.

The General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, said that the police work is the highest responsibility. Hoxha encourages newly graduated operators to work with responsibility and professionalism.  

Training for close protection operators lasted twelve weeks.
