Academy board members held their next meeting

Vushtrri, Nov.23.2023 – The members of the Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (AKSP) today held the next meeting where the topic of discussion was the course of training as well as the re-accreditation process of the Academy as an institution providing professional education and training. 

 

After approving the minutes of the last meeting of the board, the deputy general director of the Academy Kastriot Jashari spoke about the activities that have been developed recently at the Academy.

 

Greeting the members of the board, director Jashari said that the course of training and development of other activities is going according to the plan of the Academy's program. 

 

The topic of discussion during the meeting was also the signing of agreements of understanding with public security institutions in the country.

 

 Director Jashari said that the Kosovo Academy for Public Security is ready to serve all public safety agencies by offering training and higher education.. 

 

During the meeting, the draft training plan for 2024 was reviewed, this plan includes training for all public safety institutions in the country, such as; Kosovo Police, Kosovo Correctional Service, Kosovo Customs, Kosovo Probation Service, Emergency Management Agency and Kosovo Police Inspectorate.

 

The members of the board were also informed about the process of higher education at the Academy. 

 

The deputy of the General Director of the Academy Kastriot Jashari, the Chief Executive of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo Kushtrim Hodaj and also the chairman of the Board of the Academy, the General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service Ismail Dibrani, the deputy of the General Director from Emergency Management Agency Shefki Avdullahu participated in this meeting, fDirector General of the Correctional Service of Kosovo Arsim Tahiri and Betim Llapashtica from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mission in Kosovo.
