A delegation from Croatian Police Academy visited KAPS

Vushtrri, April 4, 2023 – The Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) was visited today by a delegation from the Croatian Police Academy  (CPA), headed by Lidija Pentavec, Head of the service for the development of police education and international cooperation in this Academy.

 


Pentavoc was accompanied by Aleksandar Čubrilo and Maja Pažanin, police officers at the Department for Development of Police Education and International Cooperation at the Croatian Police Academy.

 

The delegation was welcomed by Acting General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari, who after welcoming the delegation informed them of the Academy's achievements and activities.

 

Also, during the meeting, the Croatian delegation was informed about the staff, training, education, cooperation and other activities of KAPS .

 

Jashari, speaking about the international cooperation that the Academy has, he expressed the need for deepening cooperation in order to raise and advance trainings in the field of public security for law enforcement officers.

 

Jashari said that cooperation between the two academies, the Police Academy of Croatia and the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety is necessary and welcome.

 

On this occasion, during the meeting on behalf of the delegation from the Croatian Police Academy, Aleksandar Čubrilo, police officer in the Department for the Development of Police Education and International Cooperation, made a presentation through which he informed KAPS officials about the functioning and developments in Croatian Police Academy.

 


At the end of the meeting, both parties express interest  to benefit from the experience of each other. The Croatian delegation expressed the hope that very soon both public security institutions CPA and KAPS will implement some joint projects related to training in the field of public security.
