New cadets were lined up in front of General Director of the Academy

Vushtrri, 25 September – Today at the Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), 290 cadets of 53 th generation of the Kosovo Police lined up in morning parade. To the cadets addressed Colonel Driton Zabergja, Director of Training Mandatory in the Kosovo Police and the General Director of the Academy of Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi.

Lieutenant colonel Zabërgja informed cadets for basic training which they will attend in the academy for six months as well as the training modules that each time will be updated based on the needs of competencies which should possess the police officer.
Lieutenant colonel Zabërgja demanded from the cadets to strictly respect the training schedule, domestic rules and be committed to the successful completion of basic training, which enables them in the future to be part of the of Kosovo Police.

General Director of the Academy of Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi, by welcoming the cadets at the academy, encouraged them for their decision to be part of the Kosovo Police, the profession of the most respected by the citizens, which honors yourself, your families and fellow citizens from the settlements that you are coming from.


Smakiqi by wishing them a successful completion of basic training and also stated that the Academy offers specialized training, advanced leadership and providing studies at the Faculty of Public Security.

This is the first week of basic training of the Kosovo Police and cadets are expected to graduate at the end of March 2016 and join as members of the Kosovo Police.
