There was a delegation from International Association of the Female Police Officers that visited Academy today

Vushtri 23 September 2015-  Today  it was a delegation that visited Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS),  the delegation mentioned above it was from International Association of the Female Police Officers, from APON/ Association  of the South-Eastern European Female Police Officers, European  Association of the Female Police Officers and from Association of the Female Police Officers from Kosovo as well. The delegation mentioned above has been hosted by General Director of the Academy, Mr. Ismajl Smakiqi, representative of the Kosovo Police, Driton Zabergja and senior management of the Academy as well.
During the meeting Mr Smakiqi welcomed delegation, and later on Mr Smakiqi informed the delegation regarding to the recent processes and progress achieved in the Academy, Mr Smakiqi informed the delegation about the course of the trainings attended by security agencies, inauguration of the Faculty for Public Safety and international cooperation as well. 
Mr. Smakiqi mentioned that; Kosovo Academy for Public Safety in Vushtri has almost taken a regional character widely, in providing trainings not only for the members of public security in the region,  also in the  Balcan countries as well.
While the reperesentatives from International Association of the Female Police Officers express their satification about their visit and progress achieved in the Academy as well.
Otherwise the OSCE- mission in Kosovo has organized a Conference about the topic as follows; ‘’Integration about the gender perspective in the security sector’’, it was held for two days on the dates; 22nd – 23 September in Prishtina.
