Kosovo Police cadets donated 54 blood doses

Vushtrri, 06 February 2015 – Kosovo Police Cadets and Instructors, which are attending the  basic training at the Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), voluntarily donated blood. 

The humanitarian action of blood donation was achieved in cooperation with the Kosovo Police Health Service, Blood Transfusion from the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo and medical team of KAPS. 

During this daily action held in the academy, they are 54 blood doses donated for the needs of Blood Transfusion Centre.

 

Medical staff said that to the call for blood donation voluntarily responded a large number of members of the public security institutions who are attending training at the Academy. 

General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Ismail Smakiqi during his visit to the personnel where students were donated blood and expressed satisfaction that the Academy has become a good example for blood donation. 

“Donation of blood is a sacrifice and great help for all those citizens who need blood, "stated Smakiqi.
