Turkish National Police Academy visited KAPS

Vushtrri, 13 April - A delegation of the National Police Academy of Turkey today visited Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) where they were received by the General Director, Ismail Smakiqi, representatives of Public Safety Institutions in KAPS and management staff. Wishing welcome, Director Smakiqi informed the delegation about the trainings that are delivered in KAPS and about the accreditation process of the Academy. He also informed the delegation about the membership of KAPS in several international police agencies. In this case Smakiqi thanked Turkey for continuous assistance that is doing in all areas for Kosovo, especially in the security field.
During the meeting they also discussed about concrete cooperation between the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and the Turkish National Police Academy.
Whereas the representative of the Kosovo Police in KAPS Lt. Colonel Driton Zabërgja, said that cooperation between KP and the Turkish Police has been and will continue in the future.
