Began implementation of the twinning project at the Academy

Vushtrri, March 14, 2012 – At the  Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, began implementation of the twinning project, funded by the European Commission, which was won by Finland and Estonia, and has to do with improving education in the  public safety sector of Republic of Kosovo.
General Director of the Academy, Mr.Ismail Smakiqi stressed that now is the right time to implement this very important project of the European Union in achieving the objectives in improving education in the public safety sector. He cited that the Academy continues its reform, initiating procedures regarding the drafting of regulations in accordance with the Law of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, with the clear objective for the accreditation of the Academy in accordance with the development plan, including organizational  internal restructuring, the  Academy's membership in international organizations etc. While Risto Honkonen twinning project advisor said that this is an excellent opportunity for the state of Kosovo and now is your time to accomplish projects of the EU.
