Warriors Affairs Committee from Libya visited KAPS

13.03.2012Vushtrri, March 13, 2012 - Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (AKSP), today visited a delegation of the Warriors Affairs Committee from Libya led by Mustafa al-Sagizli. The delegation was welcomed by the General Director of AKSP, Ismail Smakiqi Lt. Col. Diron  Zabërxha and the management staff of the academy.
  General Director of KAPS Mr. Ismail Smakiqi informed the delegation about the ongoing progress being achieved in Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and presented the objectives and priorities of the academy to be achieved in the future.
 Director Smakiqi also informed the delegation about the trainings and activities that take place in KAPS by all institutions of public safety.
In this case Smakiqi stressed that KAPS has established good cooperative relations with all police academies of the region.
Kosovo Academy for Public Safety is ready to cooperate with all Academies to provide public order and security of the country. Our objective is to build confidence and cooperation with communities, "said Smakiqi. We intend to achieve the goal for police with democratic standards integrated in the international community, "said Zabërxha.
Meanwhile representatives of Warriors Affairs Committee from Libya have expressed their interest to know more closely on trainings and activities developed  in KAPS. Whereas representative of the Kosovo Police in KAPS Lt. Col. Driton Zabërxha, said that cooperation between KP and non-governmental organizations and local government and international has been and will continue in the future.
