At the Academy was held the next meeting of the Board
This meeting was attended by the General Director of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, General Director of Kosovo Police Rashit Qalaj, General Director of Kosovo Probation Service Bajram Bujupi, also head of the board, Chief Executive of Kosovo Police Inspectorate Miradije Kelmendi, Director General Director of Kosovo Customs Bahri Berisha, General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service Nehat Thaqi, General Director of Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra, Drita Perezic from ICITAP, Shpresa Muharremi from OSCE and senior officials from respective institutions.
Initially Head of the Academy Board Bajram Bujupi welcomed the attendants and then asked them to approve the agenda for this meeting.
General Director of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi presented to the participants the draft plan for training's in 2019 , whereafter there were discussions and comments from the participants.
On this occasion, Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service Nehat Thaci demanded that the training plan for 2019 to have more space for the Correctional Service in the training of middle and senior line management as well as in professional training's.
While General Director of Kosovo Police Rashit Qalaj requested that the training's that are held in the Academy by the Kosovo Police be of a high standard that the Kosovo Police be at a high professional level in performing duties and responsibilities in accordance with the mandate that it has.
At the end of the General Director of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi in front of the attendees said that the vision of the Academy is to become a center of excellence in the region and obtaining the additional responsibilities in its mission.
